Dear Lord,
Lord, I fail to love You like I should. I fail every day. If my life is proof of my salvation, then how can I be saved? My enemy, sin, constantly assails me. But You are my rock and my fortress. You will not leave me because of my sins. In fact, you loved me enough to transfer them to Your Son, giving Him my ugly stain and making me white as snow. How can I thank You, except to rest in Your love, running to You each time I fail. Let me go forth, my actions painted by gratitude for the Savior who lives within me.
For God alone my soul waits in silence; from Him comes my salvation. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress. I shall not be greatly shaken. Ps. 62:1-2
