I Was On TV!

Here’s the link to the video and the online print story.

What a day! One of those days you can only give credit to God’s providential hand.

I stayed home from church with my son, which worked out fine because for some reason, I was really tired.

Our car broke down the other day, which meant if I wanted to go anywhere, I’d have to walk…but I was too weary to get out of bed.

So, at 11:30 when the phone in my room rang, I heard it. I often don’t answer our house phone. I figure, if it’s someone who knows me, they’ll call my cell number, but for some reason, I answered.

I was home and I answered the phone…

It turned out to be KOMO 4 News! They wanted to come TODAY to film a piece about my cardiac arrest. They would be here at 1:00 they said. WHAT?

Suddenly I had energy. 🙂

My son and I scurried to clean and get dressed. My husband rushed the kids home from church. And we got to film this lovely piece about my story and my fresh look on life. Isn’t that so cool! Normally I would’ve been at church, or out on a walk, or just not answered the phone.

Some verses about Providence. How good is our Father!

And what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might. (Eph. 1:19)

The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from the LORD. (Prov. 16:33)

But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. (Matt. 10:30)

Once again, he showed me that he loves me like there’s no tomorrow.
